The Initiative
For over a decade, Provident Insurance, a specialist motor insurer in New Zealand, had been operating on a bespoke, in-house developed system known as PICLOS.
The legacy system created numerous challenges, including:
- Inflexible workflows made it difficult to adapt to changing business needs or bring new products to market quickly.
- Integration limitations restricted the ability to connect with modern digital ecosystems.
- Manual processes and poor user experience hindered productivity and led to frustration among staff and dealers.
- Scalability issues posed risks to business growth as volumes increased.
